Earn additional credit with a service-learning project.
The 4th-credit option offers students the opportunity to earn an additional academic credit in conjunction with a 3-credit course. Students perform a minimum of 20 hours of service at a site in the local nonprofit community.
The 4th-credit option enhances learning by helping students apply course concepts in the real world outside of the classroom, using knowledge gained in class to help others. Students may take one 4th-credit option per semester for a total of three semesters.
